Juniors: State CAASPP testing is coming up toward the end of March. You will be learning more what these tests mean for you and our school in the coming weeks. For now, please just be aware that there will be a special bell schedule to support this mandatory testing. You will be testing in Math, Science and English. Science will be completed during your science class. Math and English will be 2 smaller tests completed over 2 mornings each.

Positions available:
ASB President (upcoming 12th grader)
Class President (upcoming 10th-12th graders)
ASB Vice President (upcoming 10th-12th)
ASB Treasurer (upcoming 10th-12th)
ASB Secretary (upcoming 10th-12th)
Student Trustee to the School Board (upcoming 10th-12th)
If interested in running for one of these positions, please fill out this form by March 13th and attend a MANDATORY meeting in Mr. Lubamersky Classroom (306) on Monday, March 16th at Lunch. Campaigning begins March 24th with elections right after Spring Break!
Positions voted on by entire student body:
ASB President- This role oversees the ASB classroom, leads classes daily, meets with administration and takes a leadership role in planning school-wide events such as rallies, cultural heritage events, dances, spirit days, and other school-sanctioned events. To take the role of ASB president you are agreeing to make sure everything that is being advertised to the school is school friendly, appropriate, and represents our school's student body. ASB president is the representation of all students in the school, as well as the staff and community. This position must be enrolled in ASB Leadership Class during the year of service. (12th only)
ASB Vice President- The ASB Vice President is the secondary student representative for the school. They must assist the ASB president in the representation of all students in the school, as well as the staff and community. The vice president is expected to fill in for the president when they are not able to be there or able to direct portions of the class.This position must be enrolled in ASB Leadership Class during the year of service (10-12 graders)
ASB Treasurer- The primary job for the student is to be in charge of financial reports for ASB student council meetings and activities. The ASB Treasurer is a member of the executive council. This position must be enrolled in ASB Leadership Class during the year of service (10-12 graders)
ASB Secretary- ASB Secretary is the primary student in charge of records for student council meetings and activities. Secretary scribes and keeps track of all ASB discussions. The ASB Secretary is a member of the executive council. This position must be enrolled in ASB Leadership Class during the year of service (10-12 graders)
Student Trustee to the School Board- This job means you are agreeing to be the representative of our school, you will attend all board meetings (every other week on Tuesdays 6-8). Before the meetings you should have done the following: review the agenda and support documents for these meetings, have met with the principal to review the agenda, have a report prepared(make sure to ask for the agenda in advance to the meetings). It is highly advised you participate during the meetings and be involved with your school's student body about issues/concerns to bring to the council meetings. This position does not have to be enrolled in ASB Leadership Class during the year of service (10-12 graders)
Positions voted on by grade level only:
10th Grade / 11th Grade / 12th Grade Class President.
A Class President is a student who acts as a liaison between the class and the school administration. They are responsible for attending meetings and contributing to our ASB leadership class.: They are responsible for sharing important information with other members of the class and gathering ideas and information from classmates regarding school events and sharing them with the ASB Leadership class. Class presidents are the representation of all students in the grade level. This position must be enrolled in ASB Leadership Class during the year of service . (one each 10-12 grade)
