The Site Council has made the recommendation to Superintendent Taupier for the new name of our school to be Archie Williams High School. Here are a few links if you do not know much about our local hero, Archie.

We all agree that we cannot shorten the name, as none of us wants to be another ‘Williams High’. We are Archie Williams High. At Tuesday night’s board meeting, the Board will decide if AWHS is the new name of our school. Information on this board meeting is available on the district’s website.
